THANKS TO PARA-KARATE HAS LEARNED TO LISTEN TO OTHERS AND NOT INTERRUPT THEM MIENTRA TALK

✳️ From Chile we continue with another young parakarateka who tells us his story and the benefits of this martial art. It is striking that he has also reported “respecting others and learning to listen to them as they speak.” A beautiful and sincere reflection so that we can continue to think more strongly than “karatesomostodos”.
My name is Nicolas Tiznado Poblete, I am 21 years old and I am 7th Kyu in Karate Uechi Ryu.
AFTER MY OPERATION I COULD ONLY MOVE MY EYES
In 2010 I was found a cerebellar tumor, two days later I had surgery and installed a bypass valve. The first few days I could only move my eyes and started with radiation therapy and chemotherapy because there was 2% of the tumor left after the operation.
I went to school at the National Institute of Rehabilitation in Chile (INRPAC) and, in addition to the rehabilitation granted to me by kinesiologists, I practiced various sports there before starting with Karate.
I WALK WITH DIFFICULTY AND MY WHEELCHAIR HELPS ME WHEN I CAN’T STAND
I met my Sensei when he was doing his internship in Kinesiology and commented that he intended to teach Para-Karate in high school (INPARC). When I found out it would start in March 2018, I joined without hesitation in his classes.
I can walk with assistance, but most of the time I use my wheelchair because I have a hard time standing.

I DIDN’T HESITATE FOR A MOMENT, I WANTED TO TRY THE PARAKARATE EXPERIENCE
At first I just wanted to try the experience, but over time I liked it more and started watching online videos of katas.
I’VE IMPROVED THE BALANCE, THE DISTANCE, THE STRENGTH AND THE LISTENING TO OTHERS
Today I am the oldest student of the school and I am proud of what I have been able to move forward, I have improved the balance, I have been able to control the distance, I have improved the strength of my hands and legs, as well as respecting and learning to listen to others while they speak…***
