14 May PABLO TOLOSANA (33 YEARS OLD)
THE AMBITION OF WANTING TO WIN AND DISABILITY ARE NOT CLOSE ✳️ What Paul has are eager and eager to reach the top of the podium, would be his dream. Then they say that ALL the para-Karate competitors just want to participate and that the medals… and they don’t realize that AMBITION and disability are not at odds…
GETTING TO THE TOP IS PAUL’S DREAM
If they’re people the same as other competitors, they can have the same yearnings, right? … Some with participation are worth it and have plenty, but others do not… Let’s not put ALL The Para-Karate competitors in the same sack… Let’s not be populists with functional diversity… They may have a disability but want to WIN, they may want to get on a podium and feel frustrated/angry about an outcome that is not quite fair to them… The Para-Karateka also has subjectivity, emotions and head… Don’t forget… Please don’t sell motorbikes… participating is their thing, of course they do, but everyone feels the Para-Karate and the competition differently…. All the same, all different…

THE ADAPTED KARATE COMPETITOR ALSO HAS EMOTIONS AND HEAD…
My name is Pablo Tolosana, I am 33 years old and I currently work in a warehouse.
My karate style is Shito Ryu, I have been practicing it for over 10 years and I am a black belt.
I signed up for Karate at the Agustín Jericho school as a child, and I think I remember that at most I spent 2 years there getting the yellow belt.
At the age of 14 I returned to Karate in the gymnasium Aragon Karate until I was 18, and in this time I went from yellow belt to blue, progressively.
LIFE MADE ME A PARA-KARATE AND GAVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE
After a long time, life properly reconduced me and gave me another chance to go back to the tatami and get off my long-awaited black belt. Eventually I started going to championships but I’d like to go to more.
One of the championships I have gone to and highly recommend is the Bera Bera Championship for people with disabilities. Last November 2019 I was able to attend and in addition to being a national event, even with international competitors, we were joined by the Karate and above all the feeling of FAMILY. Everyone can participate.
KARATE AND FAMILY
I leave you some videos of my participation:
VISIBILITY THE PARA-KARATE AND REACH THE TOP
One of my dreams is to reach the highest, be in the National Para-karate League and above all make the Para-Karate visible to break down the barriers that exist in every way.
Above all, I want to thank God, my parents, my coach José Antonio Maura Noalla and Alfredo Fernández López.
